This is a long-time favourite wine of mine, and the bonus is that it's organic. Well-crafted with terrific structure and balance. Attractive aromas of cassis, blackberry and vanilla smoke. Terrific!

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: organic steaks and roasted potato wedges topped off with stir-fried portobello mushrooms.

Reviews and Ratings

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The colour is tending towards ruby on this 2010, and a beautiful medley of oak characteristics like smoke, oak and clove come out with dark fruits like cassis, plum, and blackberry. On the palate is a nicely expressed wine, which I find alot of Central Coast wines fall short on. Smooth and balanced tannins and a fine Californian selection from our LCBO Vintages Essentials!
This organically grown Cabernet rewards with pure and polished aromas and flavours of cassis, cherry, roasted herbs, licorice and ripe blackberry, all wrapped in silky tannins and culminating in a medium-long finish.
