Natalie's Score: 94/100

This is the convenient half bottle size (375 ml) which is ideal when you'd like to begin a meal with a glass and half each to toast. A robust and complex Champagne from one of the region's top producers. Bollinger always delivers and this special cuvee is no exception. Aromas of freshly baked bread, lemon zest and toasted almond. No wonder this was the favourite of James Bond before product placement took over the franchise. Pair with oysters.

Champagne food pairings: grilled salmon, curry dishes, pulled pork sammies.

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Such a treat! Aromas of bruised apple, pear tart, brioche and buttery goodness. On the palate, there are fine bubbles with flavours of lemon, ripe apples, pear, and brioche. It is creamy and completely decadent!

Tasted October 2017.

Holy yum! James Bond has exquisite taste.... and so do I ;)

This is one my favourite Champagnes and I'll tell you why. When thousands of Bollinger's tiny bubbles hit me I get attractive notes of freshly baked brioche, baked apple, lemon curd and toasted almonds. The palate is rich and creamy, and incredibly delicious. Pair your someone special. Tasted Nov 2016 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Fragrant brioche, honey, and delicate lemon delight your nose and palate. Extra-dry, lightly kisses the mouth, very fine persistent mousse. Pair with romance.
Tasted Nov. 2016
Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A Classic style from this top producer.

Medium lemon in colour. Very Yummy autolytic characteristics (yeast, bread, brioche), citrus, and green apple. Minerally on the palate, with lemon, lemon peel, toast and bread notes.

Tasted Dec 2016
Bollinger's Special Cuvee Brut 375 ml is a perfect size for a toast for two. There is a lovely, elegant mousse on this brut with savoury, spicy autolytic character with ripe black cherry, lemon citrus and toasted filbert with a mouth-watering finish. Drink now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
