Natalie's Score: 93/100 This crisp and refreshing sparkling wine is a blend of about 60% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and a splash of Pinot Gris grapes, and is designated BC VQA. It spent two years resting on its lees to give it richness and creaminess that challenges the best of N.V. Champagnes. A zesty, refreshing bubbly with vibrant green apple notes. Clean finish. Great price. It offers low alcohol but lots of taste and a persistent mousse. Pair with oysters and mussels.
Sparkling Wine food pairings: grilled salmon, lobster thermidore, pulled pork sammies, tacos.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review: Amazing! Pronounced brioche, toasted almond, and citrus peel notes. The palate is loaded with tiny nursing bubbles, scrumptious acidity, and a long citrus zest and baked apple finish. Pair with crab legs. Tasted Feb 2017 - @sommsosa | co-owner of bespoketastings.ca
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review: Beautiful! Aromas of yeasty bread, lemon, and green apple. Beautiful, fine, zesty bubbles, mingled with bright acidity, and vibrant lemon and apple notes on the palate. Dry, bready notes balance those citrus and apple hints - overall a very lovely and enjoyable wine. Bubbles are so versatile, and this wine can be enjoyed with anything from popcorn or chips to oysters seafood or any fresh fish dishes.

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: A rich doughy bubbly that has fine bubbles with aromas of baked apple and pear pastry. It is creamy on the palate and has crisp acidity with flavours of apple, brioche, a touch of red berries, and lemon at the finish. Very enjoyable! Pair with a cheese platter that includes blue cheese, Brie and Camembert. Tasted November 2017
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: Blue Mountain is renowned for producing some of the finest traditional method sparkling wines in Canada. The NV Gold Label Brut is a blend of 56% Pinot Noir, 39% Chardonnay, and 5% Pinot Gris, all from their picturesque estate vineyards in Okanagan Falls, British Columbia. The nose shows fresh orchard fruit, brioche, and flinty minerality. Fine micro bubbles refresh the palate with tart apple, pear, and mineral persisting on the long finish. A wonderful sparkling wine to enjoy with rich dishes such as seared scallops with mushroom risotto, cocktail party hors d'oeuvres, or Blue Mountain's Truffle Popcorn recipe. Terrific value. Highly recommended. Tasted November 2015. 91+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca http://www.bluemountainwinery.com/recipes/truffle-popcorn
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: Shows a yeasty, crusty bread nose, with croissant, apple and lemon zest on palate. Tasted Jan. 2017
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Pale gold in the glass with orchard aromas on the nose. Very finely textured mouthfeel with hints of green apple. Nicely balanced. This would work well for toasts on its own or serve with black pepper potato chips! Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
