Even better than the terrific 2016 vintage, and already drinking so beautifully. A luscious and supple BC red wine made from the Gamay Noir grape, which has greater depth than Gamay alone. This wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks then aged for 10 months in four-year-old French oak barrels. Aromas of fleshy ripe blackberries and plums. Pair with lamb or pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lovely!! This Gamay Noir was aged in neutral oak for one year and then in bottle for 6 months. Aromas of strawberry, cherry and white pepper. Medium bodied and medium acidity on the palate with lots of plush berry and a slightly spicy finish. As a food wine, this is so versatile, enjoy with anything from BBQ chicken, Turkey with cranberry sauce, salmon or grilled pork tenderloin.
