Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A Napa Valley chard showing tropical fruit, lemon, vanilla and a touch of smoke on nose and palate, with bright acidity.
Tasted May 2017
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Want another buttery oak driven Chardonnay. Here it is!! Creaminess and tree fruits combine to leave us with oodles of flavour. Oak lingers on and on and finishes with a distinct charred note.
The vineyard for California's Black Stallion Estate (2015) Chardonnay is located on the grounds of former equestrian centre. Black Stallion Winery is the newest in the stable of wineries in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. The Chardonnay was created from small lot vineyards. - Community Wine Reviews
