Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Mid-weight viognier from the Okanagan. Notes of citrus, stone fruit, and almond, with a medium clementine finish. Perfect for a warm day in the backyard paired with grilled chicken off the bbq.
Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows: A brilliant pale straw colour with golden hue, this BC Viognier leaps from the glass with ripe melon, pineapple and mango. Almond, baked apple and a whiff of smoke hide in the background. On the palate the fruit leans more towards the orchard and everything is drenched in wildflower honey though the wine is dry. A touch of herbaceous cut grass emerges as the wine opens and crushed-stone-like minerality provides backbone. Mouthwatering medium acidity keeps the palate alive through the medium long finish. You can practically taste the Okanagan sun in the glass and something off the grill would be a fine match here. Grilled chicken, grilled pineapple, grilled haloumi, grilled shrimp/ lobster, and so on. A touch of richness/ umami in the food would provide a nice contrast for the tart fruit.
