Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Detected a slight cleansing effervescence in this off-dry Spatlese. Intense aromas of pear, lychee, peach, citrus and blossoms. The palate is light with refreshing acidity and a length that goes on forever. Enjoy this German style Riesling with your favourite spicy Thai or Indian curry; nuts with assorted cheeses; Angel food cake with demi-glaze; on it's own well chilled. Delicious!
Tasted: Sept. 2015
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This Riesling from Mosel has aromas and flavours of ripe lime juice and peach, with layers of honey and slight floral notes and minerality. It is mouth-watering and the flavours last on the ripe, refreshing finish.
Drink now or keep until 2017.
Pair with rich fish dishes or spicy Indian fare.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Asian pear, lychee, beeswax, hint of petrol, and lemon grass on the nose. The sweet palate offers layers of ripe orchard fruit that leads to a long refreshing finish. Enjoy with glazed ham, spicy fare, rich cheese, or on its own. Tasted September 2015. 91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
A rich, concentrated German dessert wine with aromas of apricot, peach jam and honeydew. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
