Grapes were handpicked in October during the early morning hours to arrive fresh at the winery. They were then left for a cold maceration prior to the fermentation for 96 hours at 42.8°F. Primary fermentation took place during 8 days in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature at 78.8°F. Once the fermentation finished, the wine was macerated for 15 to 20 days to extract the grapes potential to the utmost. This wine went through full malolactic barrel fermentation and was later aged 4 months in new French oak barrels of 225 liters

Ripe raspberry, strawberry and blueberry aromas; dry, medium body; smooth berry fruit flavour with soft tannins to finish

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
