Natalie's Score: 89/100

Savoury, mouth-watering and tannic with attractive aromas of black fruit, smoke and toasty oak. This is a robust Spanish red wine blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo grapes. The wine was aged 18 months in French and American oak barrels then another 20 months in bottle before being released from the winery. Pair with pepperoni pizza.

Food pairings: blackened leg of lamb, spicy meat dishes, beef tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep and vibrant with aromas of blackberries, blueberries, earthiness, cigar box, and smoked meat. Loads of acidity, medium+ tannins, and flavours of blueberry and young, tart blackberry. Fantastic, and will improve with decanting. I'm pairing this with a traditional roast beef and potatoes dinner.
