This is stunning, with distinct apple, pear, ripe stone fruit , oak spice, candied lemon. 94 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A wonderful Napa Cali Chard. 14.3% ABV. Luminous means light in Latin. This wine is full bodied, rich and lush, with gorgeous complexity. Layers of deep flavours. Buttery, vanilla, minerality, canned mandarin orange. Pair with seafood chiopino and is drinking easily on its own. Tasted 2014 vintage in March 2017. 93 points.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Elegant nose with a powerful fusion of oak, vanilla, pear, apple and citrus. The flavors are well balanced and vibrant - more citrus, vanilla, butter, almond, apple - hint of white pepper on the finish - there is a lot going on yet it isn't too heavy. Wonderfully made, great vintage.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Luminus(Latin for "light") is my favourite Beringer Chardonnay. 2012 was its debut in the Beringer collection, winning 93 pts. from Robert Parker. Aromatic honeysuckle, citrus and hazelnut on the nose, followed by a luscious palate giving bright tree fruit, citrus and understated oak in a satiny mouthfeel and creamy, elegant finish. A fantastic gift wine.
Tasted March 2017
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This beautiful Chardonnay has aromas of vanilla and pear are followed by layers of buttery peach, apple, ripe melon and white pepper. The acidity would help it pair nicely with rich dishes like lobster with garlic butter, or chicken in a cream sauce. Tasted March 2017.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Ripe buttery nose, with brioche, pear and vanilla notes developing upon aeration. Opulent, full bodied and creamy on the palate, with fresh acidity and rich, buttery flavours. Finishes on tart, lemony notes that bring nice lift and focus.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Fresh baked apples, citrus, hazelnut, and gentle churned butter. Long fresh apple finish, velvety mouthfeel, with soft acidity. This wine has a great balance of toasted oak, brioche, nuts, and fruit on the palate. it is a well-made wine that should be enjoyed with a seafood dishes, creamy chicken, or lobster. Score 92. (S.Segard, Reviewed March 26, 2017).
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Aromas show pronounced fresh floral, flinty minerality, baked apple, sweet baking spices and blanched almonds notes. Quite complex! Layers of elegant and flavourful cooked apple and sweet nutty notes persist. A well-rounded buttery full-bodied white from the distinct Oak Knoll District in Napa Valley. Enjoy with buttery pan-seared salmon. Tasted Mar 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

California Chardonnay, straw in colour with aromas of green apple, butter, pear, spice and toasted biscuits. It is rich with flavours of green apple, butter, white pepper and white grapefruit. Full bodied with well balanced acidity and alcohol. Should pair great with chicken, pork and most cheese. (Tasted March 26, 2017)
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Rich and mesmerizing nose of butterscotch, grilled peaches and fresh croissants.
The mouthfeel is not at all heavy. Nice delicate creaminess and surprising elegance with a hint of smoke. Begs for grilled white meat or veal alla milanese
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Toasty, buttery nose, what you would expect from a big fat chardonnay. This full-bodied big fat white, is a delightful, traditional chardonnay of more rich, buttery and vanilla that is well balanced in its use of oak.

I would pair this with some food that has rich and fatty flavours such as chicken cordon bleu, buttery lobster or anything with puff pastry. Could also be paired with an apple crisp dessert with french vanilla ice cream.
Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:

Heady florals and baked orchard fruit are shrouded in a nose that suggests assertive oak influence. Toasty hazelnut, banana bread, and baking spices mingle and keep one going back to discover more. Dusty stone at the onset of rain and burnt sugar round out the nose. Honey drizzled melon and banana show on the palate that is elegant, round, and complex. Ginger with tropical and dried fruit (apricot, mango) linger through a long finish.
A medium full body and medium acidity provide structure in a wine that is powerful and rich. Pair with French classics like fricasee de volaille, or vol au vent d'homard where the wine's acidity will cut the rich, roux thickened sauces.
