Reviews and Ratings

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Very nice aromatics, with vanilla, clove, and toffee coming from the oak's influence. Unfortunately it was not as nice on the palate with not much fruit to balance the oak, acidity and tannin. Overall, a weak 88.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Intensely fruity with a lingering finish, cherries, blackberries with a soft spice.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Intensément fruité avec un fini durable, cerises, mures et épices douces.

This inexpensive red is a serious wine from the folks at Castello Banfi, a top producer of Brunello di Montalcino. Centine Rosso is a blend of sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon and merlot. If you are truly looking for value in red wine, this one’s hard to beat. Score: Best of Show Red Wine Source: Robert Whitely, whitleyonwine.com

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
