Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A top rated sparkling Riesling crafted in the Charmat method. Exceedingly fruity nose boasting bushels of apple, peach, pear, lemon, and melon. A touch off dry to balance the high acidity of the hand-harvested Riesling, picked when the grapes possess 10 grams of acid per litre. Plenty of fruit through the palate and finish. An absolute treat with prosciutto-wrapped melon or spicy chicken tenders, though very easy to enjoy on its own.
Kendra & Matthew Elliott rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This great Charmat method sparkling has lovely acidity with notes of apples, lemon + lime. The perfect wine to pair with seafood or a nice bowl of buttery popcorn.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This fun, off-dry sparkling has lemon, lime with some interesting creaminess going for it. It is crisp and refreshing on the palate with a lively mousse. Would be a wonderful sipper on its own or pair with shrimp or scallops. Tasted January 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Back 10 Cellars Smitten sells out every summer, so there must be a fair amount of people smitten by it. Made in methode cuvée close, the 2018 Riesling bubble is bordering on dry with fresh aromas of melon and pear, ripe stone fruit and pear flavours zesty on the palate. Good backbone and great acidity for food. Pair with fish tacos, crab cake and seafood canapes. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
