One of my favourite Italian Pinot Grigio wines year after year. This IGT wine from northern Venezia region is fresh, with zesty aromas of lime, white pear and grapefruit. Mouth-wateringly perfect for grilled fish or calamari.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: grilled chicken breast, summer salads, pork burgers, oysters on the half-shell.

Reviews and Ratings

Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From the rolling hills of Gorizia in northern Italian region of Veneto comes this lovely white. Crafted with 100% Pinot Grigio grapes fermented in stainless steel followed by maturation in a combination of new and used barriques. Abundant aromas and flavours of lemon drops and ripe stone fruit with subtle floral notes and a touch of minerality. Crisp acidity, vibrant and elegant, this makes for a perfect aperitif and a worthy companion to summer salads and seafood. Tasted May 2017. Tania Thomas – www.runawaygrape.com
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a clear step up from the majority of thin, neutral Pinot Grigios flooding liquor store shelves these days. Suprisingly fragrant, with yellow apple, quince and ripe lemon aromas. Crisp and dry on the palate, with a subtly creamy, layered texture, and interesting savoury nuances on the moderate length finish. Great apéritif wine.
Attems 2015 is a zesty, mouthwatering Pinot Grigio from Venezia Giulia, Friuli wine region in northern italy. Great value here and a perfect pairing to crispy pepper calamari. Drink now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
