Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Absolutely delicious! Lovely and pronounced spice and dried fruit notes hit you upfront. The palate shows smooth ripe tannins. Dominant flavours include figs, dates, cooked cherry rhubarb and tons of baking spice. I adore the sweet tobacco and anise note in the finish as well. No need to aerate, just pop and enjoy! Enjoy this full bodied, worthy cellar candidate with roasted rack of lamb. Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

LCBO Grandi Marchi Italian Tasting @ Toronto - Lovely Rosso di Montalcino. Bright cherry fruit aroma and good balance between fruits and acid. Not a big wine but a soli daily drinking wine to pair with pizza and pasta (or even drink it alone)!
From the Tuscany wine growing region, Rosso Di Montalcino Pian Delle Vigne 2014 is made from 100% from Sangiovese, Pair with your favourite lasagna recipe. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
