Reviews and Ratings

Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Beautifully aromatic Argentinian white, vinified with the grapes grown in Salta’s high altitude vineyards. Aromatic, fresh and intense with aromas and flavours of pink grapefruit and ripe pears with pronounced minerality. Well balanced acidity. Closes in a lingering, polished almond-tinged finish. Great as an aperitif or paired with delicate fish and seafood or creamy cheeses. Serve well chilled. Tasted January 2017. Tania Thomas – www.taniathomas.com.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Aromas of Turkish delight, rose petal, ripe melon, hay, lime zest.

Flavours of ripe nectarine, pear, lychee, almond.

Creamy mouthfeel, but drops off a bit.

Drink now - a decent representation of this aromatic grape.

Tasted November 2016.
Alta Vista Classic Torrontés (2015). Grapes for this wine come from the low-yielding vineyards in Cafayate of the Salta province. The vineyard site is at an altitude of over 5,500 feet. The wine is aromatic, floral and flavourful and has been aged on its lees for 3 months in steel tank. Try it with sushi or Thai food. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
