Reviews and Ratings

Leanne rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Very smooth red.
The palette here refers to the blending mastery of winemaker J-P Colas in combining 45% Merlot, 40% Gamay, 9% Pinot Noir, 4% Cabernets (Sauvignon and Franc) and 2% Syrah from Niagara vineyards to create this expressive red. Notes of red and sour cherry, plum, wild raspberry, cocoa and sweet spice introduce a bright, structured wine with sinewy tannins and a slightly wild edge to the fruit. A great food wine. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
