Lovely toasty oak aging that's integrated with the fleshy blackberry notes on this medium-bodied Niagara red wine. Mocha and espresso smoke wrap around a black fruit core. This is a very full-bodied style of Gamay Noir and I really like it. Finishes long and smooth.

Gamay Noir food pairings: roasted chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Amazingly versatile! I have great plans of making this light bodied wine my go to summer red. Fresh raspberry, cherry, baking spices, and hints of freshly cracked white pepper come through on the nose. Luscious red cherry and pepper are dominant on the palate but not lingering - ending with a clean short finish.
The Gamay grape vines for this medium-bodied Niagara red wine are planted in Sandstone, Schwenker and 13th Street's estate vineyard. - Community Wine Reviews
