Matt Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From France's Loire Valley, Henkell's Crémant de Loire 2016 is a blend of Chenin (60%), Chardonnay (20%), Pinot Noir (15%), and Cabernet Franc (5%), crafted in the traditional method to produce an elegant, refreshing, and very approachable sparkling wine which is perfect for any occasion. With several years of bottle age it's shinning now with great aromatic, flavour, and textural harmony. Inviting baked apple, pear and orchard fruit characteristics with a fine creamy mousse making this vintage 2016 Crémant de Loire a great choice to enjoy now and over the next couple years with autumn dishes, Lox bagel, canapés, and spicy Asian cuisine. Tasted September 2023. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Natalie's Review

Henkell Crémant De Loire 2016, Loire A.P., France: Henkell 2016 is a traditional method Crémant De Loire produced from a cuvée of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes from the Loire wine region. This is a fairly new bubble for Henkell, a top seller and excellent value as well at $22. There has been plenty of bottle ageing in its development and the crémant is toasty on the nose with nutty and ripe pear aromas, dry, medium-bodied with a fresh and crisp mousse. Chill and enjoy it with gougères and savoury canapes. Drink: 2023-2025. 29893 12% D 750 mL  $21.95 Score: 89/100. September 9, 2023 Scrumptious Seafood Wine  Full Review

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
