Craig Haynes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Big aromas, big flavours, and a seemingly endless finish all emerged from my glass of the 2020 Barossan Shiraz.

From South Australia's Barossa Valley wine region, this wants-all-my-senses-to-notice-it Shiraz evoked jammy dark berries, chocolate, cedar, baking spices, and micro doses of eucalyptus. It is delicious.

The highlight for me is how it feels. Velvety, down right dry, leaning to heavy weight, and showing some pleasing mild mannered, gum teasing tannin on the finish. More of this please.

Enjoyed at Dandurand Wine and Spirits Tasting in Ottawa, Canada in September 2023.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ruby coloured wine, dry, medium tannins and acidity with an aroma of dark cherry and plum, some baking spice, pleasing savoury notes, dark chocolate and tobacco. Soft and smooth in the mouth, and one worth trying with dark chocolate as wellas roast beef or grilled steak. Very nice on its own as well.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is always a great option if you're in the mood for a powerful Aussie Shiraz. Aromas of ripe blackberry, cherry, cedar, black pepper, cloves, and a touch of mocha. Full bodied on the palate, with soft, drying tannins, and balanced acidity that compliments those rich, ripe dark berry, cedar, and spicy notes. Finish is quite lengthy and smooth. Enjoy with a grilled steak.

Peter Lehmann The Barossan Shiraz 2020, Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia: From the Barossa wine region, Peter Lehmann The Barossan 2020 is a great value Shiraz at $22. Full-bodied and plushy with lots to love; a classic with ripe blackberry, plum, cherry, black pepper and toasty oak spice flavours big and bold with a deliciously long mocha finish. Pour with a prime rib roast. Drink or hold. Drink: 2023-2029. 522235 14.90% D 750 mL  $21.95 Score: 92/100. October 21, 2023 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review
