Craig Haynes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2019 Chateau Bellevue la Forêt is approachable, fruity and easy drinking in a good way.

Elegant aromas. Juicy flavours. Dark berries and cherries and small doses of oak spice have starring roles from pour to finish.

This blend of Négrette, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah feels medium bodied and pleasingly dry and velvety.

From southwest France’s Fronton appellation, I paired this with grilled pork chops and a green salad topped with blue cheese, and was happy with the result. Enjoy.

Natalie's Review

Château Bellevue La Forêt 2019, Fronton, Southwest A.P., France: Château Bellevue La Forêt 2019 is an excellent value southwest France red blend of Négrette with Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich, dry and full-bodied with dark fruit, earthy notes, herbs and spices. Grapes are vinified separately and aged in large oak vats two years prior to bottling. The Négrette wine grape appeared in the 12th century and was named "Mavro" (black) originally brought in from Cyprus by the Knights of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem.
