Wow! How gorgeous is this? From Niagara's Creek Shores region this is 13th Street Winery's Reserve Riesling Icewine. Fragrant on the nose with honeydew, peaches, honey and white flowers. Flavours come alive with apricots, peachy jam and sweet, fresh citrus - similar to biting into a freshly cut pink grapefruit sprinkled with sugar. Memories of this spring forward! Bright mouthwatering acidity revives the lingering sweetness and balances it out ever so nicely with a touch of minerals lingering. The grapes for this were picked in December 2019 and February 2020. After 6 months in tank, bottled in November 2020. A sweet way to end the year. Enjoy this on its own or with with baked brie, charcuterie, roasted nuts and fig jam. Enjoy! - tasted January 2021
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous! Aromas of preserved peaches, apricot, honey and a hint of ginger. Full bodied and smooth, with a soft, velvety texture, ripe jammy fruit notes, and a hint of spice a smooth, lengthy finish. Just lovely. Enjoy with an after dinner cheese plate complete with nuts and dried fruit.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
