This is a great value Malbec that never disappoints. I tasted the 2019 earlier in the year and have to say this 2020 Vintage also hits the Mark. Rich medium dark cherry in the glass with aromas of sweet cherry and menthol. Flavours of dark fruits and spice. Smooth tannins with medium acidity. Well balanced with a medium fruit finish. A great red meat companion! Tasted December 29/2020
Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Toro Argentina Malbec is a lovely surprise, especially at the $10 LCBO value. 2020 was a hot and dry grape growing season in Argentina accelerating and intensifying ripening. As a result, this vintage shows a beautifully fruit-forward, juicy Malbec.
Ripe blackberries, blueberries, oak and a hint of eucalyptus, with that juicy carry-through of blackberries on the palate. Well structured tannin and acidity, making this a perfect pairing for barbecued ribs or burgers.
Tasted December 2020.
Craig Haynes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Argentine malbec delivered an experience that exceeded its under $10 price point. Bold raspberry and juicy strawberry scents introduced a full-bodied palate with grippy, approachable tannins. Red berry flavours took centre stage yet space remained for some appealing woodsy and herbal undertones. Pair with dry rubbed BBQ’ed meat? You bet.

Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The price on this wine is quite unbelievble, and I think most people would be surprised it's so inexpensive. There is a lot of ripe raspberry and blackberry on the nose with some slight herbaceous notes. Medium+ bodied on the palate, smooth with ripe berry notes, and a clean finish. Enjoy with marinated beef kebabs.

Natalie's Review

Bodega Toro Winery Centenario Malbec 2020, Mendoza, Argentina: This wine seems to be improving each year! And yet it remains at an incredibly low price. The 2020 vintage for Toro is more savoury with dried herbs and lots of incredible dark fruit depth. This robust, smooth Argentine red wine made from the country's classic Malbec grape. This is the most popular Malbec in Argentina, which is quite a feat given that's their specialty. Pair with a grilled steak or other hearty meat dishes. Perfect for holiday entertaining.
