Light Amber in colour with aromas of honeydew, pear, lychee and apricots. It is medium bodied and dry with mouthwatering acidity . On the palate you get flavours of pear, grapefruit and honeydew. This will pair well with Asian dishes and soft white cheese. Tasted on September 30, 2021.

A pretty, amber coloured wine (hence the name) made with late harvest grapes. Aromas of peach, mandarin and ripe pear. On the palate this wine is smooth with creamy texture, and tons of ripe, luscious citrus and stone fruit notes, with a honey and caramel finish. Enjoy with apple crumble.

Amber or orange wines are made using white wine grapes that are given a little more skin contact than usual, resulting in lovely colours in the wine. This one was crafted from late-harvest grapes. Light and refreshing with pretty honeyed notes of peach, gooseberry and yellow apple on nose and palate. Serve well-chilled. Pair with a chicken sandwich and remember this one to sip on the patio when spring comes.

Medium Gold colour. Fragrances of peach, herbs and orange zest. Bright acidity and a palate full of orange peel, baked apple and pear. A medium finish.
Serve this with poached pears and mascarpone.

A trendy, amber wine done in the “orange” wine style from Copper Moon. Overseen by Peller Estates, these grapes are harvested late in the season and it’s said, “under the light of the moon”. Fermented on their skins to give it the added flavours and texture. On the nose, golden peach, ripe pear and almond caramel. In the mouth, orangey citrus flavours with the added element of the orange rind linger alongside spiced baked apples, yellow plum, nutmeg and vanilla. Nicely balanced. This would be a suitable pairing for spicy asian foods, or pineapple and ham pizza. - Tasted December 2020
Craig Haynes rated this wine as
87/100 with the following review:
Pretty scents evocative of floral, honey drizzled peaches, apricots and nectarines introduced juicy stone fruited flavours that held fast through a long finish. Crafted from late harvest grapes and medium bodied, this creation featured pretty copper and amber hues, too. Peach cobbler would pair nicely with this wine. Enjoy.

One the nose, concentrated aromas of pear, stone fruit, and lychee with clementine notes, honeydew, delicate floral notes, white pepper, saline, and honey. Dry on the palate with a slightly textured mouthfeel and notes of nectarine, lychee, honeydew, lime, with that saline quality seeping through.

If you’d like to experience something different, the Moonlight Harvest Amber, by Copper Moon is one to try. Vidal grapes and a skin fermentation process provide the wine’s amber color and its exotic aromas of apricot, papaya, yellow apple, honeysuckle, ginger and crème brulee, making this a lovely apero. Light body with a perfect level of acidity, this winemaker’s blend delivers flavors of green apple, green pear, lime, saline, honey, vanilla and pie crust. Enjoy.
