Well well well, if Pinot Noir tasted like this, I would drink it more often!

Medium-bodied, toasted oak, jam berries, dangerously smooth and long finish.

Mark this in your "I can't believe it's a Pinot" file.

Colin McKone rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This California Pinot Noir is deep ruby in colour and is teaming with ripe fruit aromas, including raspberry, black cherry, and plum with secondary aromas of black pepper and oak. It is medium-full bodied with light tannins and well balanced acidity with flavours of ripe red berries, vanilla and black pepper leading into a medium fruity and spice finish. This will pair well with poultry as well as cheese and tomato based dishes. Tasted on April 3, 2022.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Sea Sun 2018 a Californian Pinot Noir, offer rich aromas of dark cherry, strawberry, blood orange, rose, dried leaves, spice and brown sugar. Full body with slight tannin and acidity but delivering a dense finish. Palate: juicy cooked cherry, plum sauce, dragon fruit, potpourri, cola and vanilla. Enjoy.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A fruity Pinot Noir with elements of dark cherries, smoke, red plum and toasted oak. Flavourful, with cherry nectar and smoky earthy spices lingering throughout the medium body and finish. Suitable to sip alongside meat and cheese charcuterie and grilled pork tenderloin.
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Nose: Black cherry with dark and red field berries, violet, autumn leaves, leather, hints if black licorice and black pepper. Palate: Medium bodied, silky, with balanced acidity on the palate. Notes of strawberry and smoke. The flavours linger.

Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An unconventionally dark garnet in the glass, with heady aromas of cherries, vanilla and baking spices. Bursting fruit forward raspberry flavour, with a slightly tart cranberry finish. Medium+ body, made persistent by a slightly higher alcohol level at 14%+ abv
Pair with pizza or roasted pork dishes.

Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The weather has turned cooler, there is a pork roast in the oven, and this rich California Pinot Noir is awaiting the finished meal. Aromas of rich raspberry, currants, and dark cherry with notes of warm spice and a touch of campfire smoke. Dry and medium bodied on the palate, with mouthwatering acidity, and some smooth, supple tannins add lovely body and balance to the ripe and juicy berry flavours. The finish is lengthy with hints of vanilla and spice. This wine is blended from Pinot Noir from Moneterey, Solano, and Santa Barbara County.
Craig Haynes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Californian pinot noir is unapologetically lush from start to finish. This red has rich aromas like ripe dark berries, cassis and savoury spices and features stacks of ripe, spiced cherry and berry flavour. A blend of pinot noir harvested from California’s Monterey County, Solano County and Santa Barbara County, it feels full bodied, desert dry, pleasingly mouthcoating with a supple tannin structure.

I like how this pinot’s aroma, flavour and feel collaborate with each other rather than compete head to head.. Rich meat sauces would pair nicely with this 2018 vintage. Enjoy.
