Light and refreshing, with a little more roundness and body than typical VInho Verde I've had before. Aromas of pineappple, melon, and pear with some hints of fresh green herbs. Light to medium bodied on the palate, with vibrant acidity, and lovely rounded and ripe tropical fruit flavours. Enjoy with any shellfish or white fish dishes.

Quinta da Aveleda Vinho Verde 2019 is a blend of Loureiro & Alvarinho produced in a crisp and dry style that showcases the great tropical and citrus fruits, floral notes, and zippy acidity Vinho Verde wines are loved for. If you like Sauvignon Blanc, without the grassy notes, give this value priced wine a try! Enjoy this summer served well chilled and throughout the year with spicy dishes, pan seared fish with lemon, or sushi. Tasted July 2021. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
