Julian Park rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The rosé is a vibrant reddish-pink with aromas of strawberry, rhubarb and citrus. Fresh and lively on the palate and bursting with the flavour of red berries, key lime and savoury notes. A dry, medium body wine with a long full-flavoured finish.
Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Love the enticing juicy strawberry and fragrant pink floral nose on this 67% and 33% Pinot Noir rosé wine blend from Blue Grouse Estate Winery and Vineyard. Dry (2.5 g/l residual sugar), fresh and zesty with ripe strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, delicate pink florals, fine herbs and mineral flavours that linger on the palate. A nicely-crafted bright and flavoursome rosé, chill and enjoy on its own or pair with green salads topped with grilled chicken tenders.

Most of the wine grapes for this brilliant rosé were sourced from the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island with 6% of the PN grapes sourced from Oliver in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia.

The Gamay Noir is destemmed into tank and left on skins for 36 hours prior to pressing and both batches of Pinot Noir grapes are also destemmed into the press and left for 12 hours on skins. Each batch is fermented separately, aged in tank and blended prior to bottling.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
