Colin McKone rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Golden in colour with aromas of granny smith apple, butter, pear and spice. It is medium bodied with crisp acidity and has flavours of green apple, caramel and lemon zest that leads into a creamy green apple finish. This is will pair well with poultry and pork, I enjoyed it with turkey for thanksgiving dinner. Tasted on October 12, 2020.
Craig Haynes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This wine showcases David Johnson’s creativity regarding local ingredients. Among other things, the 2019 Ontario Wine Awards winemaker of the year matured this wine in oak harvested from Ontario forests. This “act locally” decision contributed style to this medium bodied chardonnay. From a family operated winery, it featured a generous profile of baked white orchard fruit with woodsy, butterscotch and caramel notes filling in the background. Enjoy.
