Matt Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A ripe and delicious expression of a big juicy Okanagan red. Major's Block is a robust and spicy blend of Shiraz and Merlot with a splash of Petit Verdot and Zinfandel adding further depth and texture to this crowd pleaser. Sourced from the south of the Okanagan Valley, this is a great example of big red wines See Ya Later Ranch produces at their picturesque Okanagan Falls winery. Enjoy over the next 5+ years with BBQ fare, braised dishes, or creamy mushroom risotto. Tasted February 2020. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Gail Atkins reviewed this wine as follows:

Bright red fruit and hints of floral notes, vanilla and spice
Flavours of blueberries, dried red fruit, spice
Pair: peppercorn steak, prime rib, rare to medium-rare BBQ meats, lamb, venison and aged cheeses
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Delicious and a great price point for this BC VQA wine. Blended from 46% Shiraz, 45% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, and 3% Zinfandel, there are aromas of black plum, cherry, mocha, oak and a hint of spice. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, with some medium tannins, and balanced acidity. Fruit is ripe and plush on the palate, and there is a hint of oak and spice on the finish. Enjoy with anything BBQ'ed from ribs, burgers, portobellos, or marinated flank steak.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied blend from the Okanagan Valley with Merlot leading the way. Dark berries and oak aromas- vanilla and cocoa. Well-balanced on the palate with a spicy finish. Pair with roast beef, steak and lamb.
