The old stalwart is here again and who could not crack a smile to see the Barossan in a VINTAGES release. There’s true underlying complexity in such a famous and well-produced shiraz and while it’s so young it’s also wise and vinous. Full fruit and full of the Barossa. Big but under control. Drink 2019-2023. Tasted November 2019.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely! Aromas of dark berries, currant, leather, cedar, and warm spices. Full bodied with bright acidity and firm, young tannins on the palate. Fruit is ripe and plush, with hints of oak, warm spice and vanilla. Enjoy with a grilled steak.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A big Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from Southern Australia, with rich, dark berry aromas. The American oak aging is evident in the notes of vanilla on the palate and in the finish. The acidity and tannins are well balanced for the vintage but further ageing or a hours long decant is recommended. Beef would be the natural pairing.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This Shiraz opens with enticing, fresh aromas of peppery raspberry and currants. Fruit driven with generous red fruit and cassis on the palate. This highly approachable, well balanced wine will be a crowd pleaser. Serve with pepper steak. Good value. Tasted Nov 22, 2019 www.thewineloverskitchen.com
