Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This First Growth Cabernet Sauvignon is only made in exceptional vintages, and hand harvested from 30- year old vines. Aromas of dark plum, red currant, tobacco, cedar smoke, eucalyptus and leather. Full bodied with young tannins, bright, vibrant acidity, and luscious ripe berry and plum flavours on the palate. There is also some warm spice, mocha, and smoke and leather on the finish. Enjoy with a grilled steak.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

First Growth 2016 from Reif Estate shows aromas of fig, dark ripe cherry, tobacco leaf, potting soil, vanilla, smoke, expresso and oak. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, this Niagara wine delivers a nice balance and round finish. Perfect for sipping with friends, this Canadian wine will warm you up with its full body. Palate: strawberry jam, dark plum, bay leaf, tobacco, caramel, smoke and oak. Enjoy.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Rich dark plum, black pepper, and pine needle. Very rich, and can last in the cellar another 5 years at least.

Natalie's Review

Reif Estate Winery First Growth Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Niagara River, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: A blockbuster Niagara Cabernet Sauvignon that needs more cellar time. Aromas of black plum and black cherry liqueur with a seducative weave of smoke. Supple. Decant 1-2 hours and pair with a rare steak. Drink: 2020-2030. 17500 14.50% D 750 mL  $100.20 Score: 92/100. The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
