Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

A value offering from wine legend Alvaro Palacios, this is floral and pretty with roses and fresh red berries in a summer pudding. Beautifully balanced fresh fruit with perfumed oak - ready to drink. Try with star anise duck salad. @wrightwineblog
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This wine is testament to the attention to detail that Alvaro Palacios is famous for. Beautiful aromas of fresh raspberry and violets eventually give way to hints of chocolate. Red plum, red cherry and violets play on the palate of this Grenache dominated blend. Tannins are a bit grippy -this wine is no wimp. Overall well balanced with a long, delicious finish. Excellent value. Tasted October 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Natalie's Review

Palacios Remondo La Montesa Crianza 2016, Rioja D.O.C.A., Spain: A full-bodied Rioja red blend of mostly Grenache with some Tempranillo (8%). Fragrant with pink rose and ripe red berry fruit aromas on the nose, supple with bright cherry, red berry and toasty oak spice flavours on the palate with great acidity for food. Drinking lovely now. Pair with roasted gamebirds. Drink: 2019-2025. 674572 13% XD 750 mL  $25.95 Score: 90/100. November 16, 2019 Top Rated Red Wine. Remarkable Roast Chicken Wine  Full Review

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
