A much more serious Muscadet than the usual suspects and also great value. Gorgeous wafts of white lilies, with delicate minerality and wet stones. Rounded in the mouth, attractive viscosity with a finish that is laced with papaya, soft citrus and tropical fruit. Creamy on the finish leaving you with a lingering guava, kiwi and prickly pear note. Pair with crispy skinned fish with cauliflower purée and oregano butter. @wrightwineblog

This offering is an interesting departure from the typical clean, crisp wines of Muscadet Sèvre et Maine with its pronounced floral nose accented by hints of white peaches and tropical fruit. Silky and round on the palate and richer than your average Muscadet. Try it with shrimp or Asian food. Tasted October 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Bright, pale yellow Muscadet with edges of green. Aromas of grapefruit and lemon. Medium-bodied with a citrus and mineral flavours. The acidity leads to a cleansing finish. Pair with seafood, summer salads and prosecutto and cured meat appetizers.
