Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

From the San Pedro Winery, located in Chile, the 1865 Selected Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 offers a taste of quality Chilean winemaking. This attractive wine exposes aromas of dark plum, red currant, eucalyptus, leather, back pepper, spice and cedar. Full-bodied, with light acidity, polished tannins and a dry finish, all make this wine a perfect pairing with steak. Palate: plum, black currant, black pepper, leather, spice and oak. Enjoy!
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine is a great value and has a lot going on!! Aromas of currant, dried herbs, mocha, and sweet tobacco. Full bodied, with ripe berry flavours on the palate, and more mocha, smoke and spicy hints. There is a slight tart note on a lengthy finish. Enjoy with a BBQ steak.

Natalie's Review

San Pedro 1865 Selected Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Maipo Valley D.O., Chile: San Pedro 1865 2019 is a great value Cabernet Sauvignon under $20 from the Maipo Valley wine region. Produced from old vines Cab Sauv. from the Alto Maipo, on the nose this fresh Chilean red is fragrant with dark berry, dark chocolate, cigar box and smoky oak aromas. The wine was aged in oak barrels, 20% new. From a warm vintage, the wine is dry, medium-bodied with blackberry, mulberry, spice, minty and fine herb flavours concentrated and supple on the palate. Pour with a slow-braised beef brisket. Drink: 2021-2024. 37911 14.50% XD 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 94/100. November 11, 2021 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review
