Dark purple/garnet with blackberry, tart blackcurrant and chocolate aromas to tantalize your nose. The satiny palate echoes the nose with more pronounced chocolate notes plus a little pepper and oak. I’m thinking a grilled strip-loin steak with garlic mash, followed by chocolate cake and Haagen Daz vanilla ice cream would suit this rich, succulent Syrah.

Intense and flavourful. Aromas of black plum, white pepper, and slight vanilla hints. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, with luscious fruit on the palate and a slight spice on the finish. Enjoy with seared duck.

Lohr South Ridge Syrah is made from fruit grown in the the Paso Robles wine region in California. Dark plum with blackberry, white pepper and smoky, toasty oak.
