Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon leads with a little green pepper before fleshing out the bouquet with smoke, oak spice, fresh red cherry, and red plum. Good tannins with grip, bright acidity, and a generous medium body. Green pepper pops back up in the finish alongside smoke, spice, and red fruit. Great value with mid term aging potential, this Left Bank blend has me craving lamb chops with a balsamic reduction.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Easy drinking Wine from Medoc in Bordeaux, Chateau Gaumaran 2014, blended from 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, offers aromas of red currant, red plum, violet, black pepper, dark chocolate and cedar. Spiced with a lingering finish, this medium-bodied wine shows nice harmony on the palate. Flavors of red currant, red plum, bay leaf, tar, baking spice and cedar. Enjoy.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This 60% Merlot 40 % Cabernet Sauvignon blend has an interesting 'meaty', slightly smoky nose. Palate is savoury with grippy tannins. This is a perfect accompaniment to the busiest charcuterie platter you can dream up with dry cured sausage, old cheeses, paté - you get the picture! There is a lot going on here at this price. Excellent value. Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
