90/100 with the following review:
This wine is super dependable and always delicious. A blend of 64% Syrah, 14% Grenache, 11% Cinsault, 10% Cabernet and 1% Viognier. Only 2057 barrels made. It's aromatic with a perfumed violet note. Tannins are firm but ripe and this wine could benefit from some ageing or decanting. Try with pasta with rocket, gorgonzola and walnuts. @wrightwineblog

A blend of 4 red grapes- Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon with added white Viognier for its peach and soft citrus aromas, and creaminess. On the nose, mainly dark fruit and pepper, this wine has well-balanced acidity and tannins. Leather and dark chocolate from the oak aging leads to a medium-finish. Serve with barbequed chicken, or poultry and vegetables roasted with herbs.

Dark ruby in colour, slight pink rim. Aromas of plum, blackberry, cedar and spice. Full bodied with firm tannins and medium acidity. On the palate, dark berry fruit, plums, and, not surprisingly, dark chocolate with hints of liquorice. The flavours linger in the long finish.

True South African earthiness peeks through on the nose. Syrah dominated, this wine displays prominent berries with a more dominant earthy element on the palate. The degree of earthiness is a personal thing.... Some will adore this one.....

From the region of Franschhoek, South Africa which was settles by French Huguenots and translates to 'French Corner'.
This is a very perfumed blend of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Viognier, with bold flavours of plum, dark cherry, sweet spice, toast and smokey yumminess.
Though no chocolate was used in its production, I feel it would make a lovely pairing with a higher percentage cocoa chocolate :)

Dark ruby in colour with aromas of plum, blackberry, cassis and smoke. It is full bodied with medium tannins and medium acidity. On the palate it has dark fruit flavours leading into a medium fruity finish. This will pair well with grilled red meats. Tasted on November 17, 2019.
Colette Martin rated this wine as
91/100 with the following review:
On the nose this wine is full of dark berries, spices with floral hints. The aromas carry through onto the palate with a velvety mouthfeel and complex dark fruit, spice and dark chocolate . Incredibly well balanced with long lingering smooth finish of dark chocolate, dark fruit and dark pepper. Pairs incredibly with a grilled steak, roasted herb potatoes and charred veggies.

Boekenhoutskloof The Chocolate Block 2017, Swartland W.O., South Africa: The Chocolate Block is mostly Syrah with some Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier added to the blend. This is a smooth, full-bodied South African red from the Swartland Wine Region. Savoury, ripe with dark berry, cedar spice and smoky flavours on a smooth palate. Tannins are firm. Hold for another year and drink for the next five. Drink: 2019-2025. 129353 14% XD 750 mL $41.95 Score: 91/100. December 17, 2019 Top Rated Red Wine. Heavenly Hamburger Wine Full Review
