One bottle to the McSheffrey's for house warming in September 2021; the second bottle with filet mignon off the barbie with ET on Sunday. Well received although we had the 2016 Organic Wine, not the 2017 Cab Sauvignon I thought we bought!
Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Fantastic value at well below $20, this full mouthful of black fruit entices you with it's fresh and clean finish. Well made and correct, this wine over delivers at this price. Try with grilled lamb loin with a quince glaze and fresh greens with black olives @wrightwineblog
Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon is often overlooked by the masses and it's a shame. Chile can offer a complex and elegant Cab Sauv option from the New World and this is no exception. While the black fruit is plump, the structure and elevated acidity brings multiple dimensions to the wine. Hints of mint leaves, and cocoa spice adds to the elegance. This would be wonderful with Korean BBQ ribs and grilled shishito peppers tossed in sea salt.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Great value Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo valley in Chile. Deep purple wine, balanced acidity and tannin, dry and medium full bodied. Aromas of black cherry, black currant, mint, raspberry, a hint of red currant and an earthy note. Flavours on the palate include mint, dark cherry, vanilla and a touch of violet. Great with barbecued beef and hard cheese such as cheddar.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

One can count on Chile to deliver typicity and value in the majority of wines produced there, and here is no exception. Black cherry, cassis, and plum intermingle with smoke and earthy notes. Grippy tannins and lively acidity coupled with a full body. Finish exudes ripe dark fruit and toasty oak character. All this wrapped in for less than $18 in the Ontario market. Ideal summer BBQ wine when grilling pork, beef, and vegetables.

A wildly pleasurable Cabernet sauvignon.

Juicy with ample dark fruit. Ripe but not pushed to extremes with a delicious tangy and rich character to the palate. Lightly savory but not too dry. Elegant and persistent.
Tasted May 2019.
