Matt Steeves rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Kim Crawford wines are loved around the world for their approachable, refreshing, and delicious style. Their premium 'Signature Reserve' micro-cuvée "Fizz", showcases the finest grapes from specific regions throughout Marlborough. When blended together, the result is an outstanding representation of the fine wines being produced in New Zealand.

Signature Reserve Fizz 2013 is a blend of equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from vineyards in New Zealand's Marlborough wine region, including the Southern Valleys and Central Wairau. The grapes were hand-harvested, fermented in stainless steel, with secondary fermentation in the bottle (just like Champagne), with a 42 month aging on the lees which contributes to the wines aromatic and textural complexity.

The nose shows yellow apple, lemon loaf, floral blossom, toast, and a subtle nuttiness. It's fresh and lively with a creamy and zesty mousse, making this a fantastic choice for enjoying with a wide range of dishes from oysters on the half shell, creamy seafood pasta, chilled peach soup with fresh goat cheese, or BBQ grilled chicken breasts with a grapefruit glaze. This premium traditional method sparkling wine offers great value in a very approachable style which is sure to be loved. Tasted May 2019. 92 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
