Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A stellar wine from the Hope Family in Paso Roble. Second generation Austin Hope made this wine as a tribute to the three men who he felt contributed to his character and success; his father Chuck, his Uncle Paul and winemaker Chuck Wagner. Layers of aromas; dark fruit (cherry, blackberry), smoke, leather and vanilla. On the palate spice and ripe fruit abound. Full bodied with beautifully integrated tannins and acidity. I personally picked up a few bottles after tasting and will save it for Sunday roast beef dinners or steak on the bbq this summer. Tasted April 26/2019 California Wine Fair
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Black cherry, cassis, and pomegranate with some mild smoke. Leads sweet with those ripe fruit flavours, but there's no doubt this is dry and sophisticated. Ample tannins, grippy but smooth. Brown sugar and spice on the palate in conjunction with ripe fruit notes. Love the cinnamon and clove notes in the long finish. Keep it simple with a salt and pepper steak; this wine is the star of the show at dinner.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Inky purple in the glass. A complex and inviting nose with mint and sandalwood. Silky smooth on the palate. This is a beautifully structured and integrated wine. Serve with beef tenderloin, grilled steak. Tasted April 2019.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
