Tasted the Lot 4 of this nine vintage California gem!
An affordable option if looking for a signature Caymus wine that’s typically more expensive.

Aromas of dark cherries, cigar and eucalyptus transform into a ripe red cherry and cranberry finish. Medium-full bodied, round tannins, and some present acidity make this a perfect pairing to sirloin or rib eye steaks.
Tasted March 2022.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

An opulent Cabernet Sauvignon from California, the Bonanza Lot 4 provides a mouthful of happiness at every sip. Aromas of berry jam, dark cherry, dried herbs, black pepper, leather, mocha and oak. Full body, with silky tannins and soft acidity, the wine exposes a dense and delicious finish of strawberry jam, dark cherry, violet, graphite, cocoa, spices, vanilla and oak. Enjoy!
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A non-vintage California Cabernet Sauvignon from the founder of the reputable Caymus winery. Aromas of currant and ripe blackberry, with notes of spice, mocha and smoke. Full bodied on the palate with medium acidity, ripe fruit and mocha, very smooth on the finish. Enjoy with a marinated flank steak.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Love Caymus wines but can't afford to enjoy them as frequently as you'd like? Join the club, and in the mean time, consider this multi-vintage blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from Chuck Wagner. Violets and dark floral aromas usher in jammy ripe blueberry and cassis. Very ripe and structured, you can cellar this for at least half a decade. Mocha and blueberry finish with sweet, smoky vanilla. Grab your favourite BBQ sauce, dress up a protein of your choice, and indulge without breaking the bank.
