Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A Bordeaux blend from Entre deux Mers, and Merlot led, the wine presents medium garnet in the glass. Red berry and red fruit aromas, this medium-bodied wine has medium acidity and high tannins. Decant or age further. Pair with lamb or beef.
Tasted January 2020.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

50% Merlot/20% Cabernet Sauvignon/30% Cabernet Franc, this Bordeaux blend opens with an interesting nose of brambleberry and violets and some spicy notes. The palate shows restrained fruit with herbal highlight of thyme and a hint of cedar. Pair with Mushroom Fricasée or French onion soup. Good value. Tasted January 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Chateau Vrai Caillou 2016, from the Entre Deux Mers AOC Region of Bordeaux, offers a great day-to-day wine quality. Warms aromas of dark cherry, dark skin plum, menthol, cola, caramel and sandalwood. Made from 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc, Chateau Vrai Caillou delivers a light body for a Bordeaux wine, but compensates with delicious flavors of cherry, rip plum, bay leaf, leather and sandalwood. Enjoy.
