A nice change for a BBQ filet mignon dinner! Well suited for our Saturday evening
with just ET, Maureen, and I. Gone too soon....

Aromas of green pepper, dried herbs and hint of cherry. Light for a cab sauv with flavours of blackberry, cherry and chalk.
Normally wouldn't pair a cab sauv with poultry, but this one is light enough to bring to your next Thanksgiving dinner or pair with herbed roast chicken (think rosemary, dried basil, oregano). Would please many palettes as is lighter for your pinot noir lover, but has flavours to please the cab sauv lover. Also pairs well with hard cheese like emmental.
Tasted November 19, 2018.

Spicy on the nose, aromas include pepper, dried herbs, currant, blackberry, and even black tea. Full bodied on the palate, with smooth tannins, More fruit forward on the palate with some mocha and herbaceous notes on the finish. Enjoy with grilled sausages or lamb burgers.

A spicebomb, to be certain. This Cab comes from Finca el Paraiso and Maipu, near Mendoza.
It sees about a year in French oak.
Deep ruby, with some bricking already.
Characterful aromas of tea leaves, smoke, cassis, macerated cherry and berry.
Flavours of smoke and cherry persist. Good acidity. It carries a lot of oak.
Lots going on. It'll be a fun barbecue wine for certain. Put this with some rare hamburers. Maybe even lamb burgers with rosemary.

drank side by side with their Terroir Los Miradores Malbec 2014. The style is consistent that is refined and not overly ripe. However, the cabernet falls short on the mid-palate and finish.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as

There are a few green edges to this Cabernet but overall it works very well, with black cherry, blackberry, mesquite, fresh and dried herbs, dried tobacco leaf, and some earthiness. 90 Points.

Loads of power of flavour here without loosing any of the complexity. Classic cassis with floral notes too. Oak is a grace note more obvious on the palate here. Full bodied from 13.8% alc. Power without "overpowering". Loved it from start to a long finish.

Luigi Bosca Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Mendoza, Argentina: The 2015 vintage of the robust Luigi Bosca is made from the classic Cabernet Sauvignon grape. It's beautifully balanced with deep layers of dark fruits, including blackberry, cassis and dark plum with a lick of dark spice and smoke. Ripe tannin with a supple mouthfeel. Decant one hour and enjoy with a rare steak. Drink: 2018-2022. 128629 14% D 750 mL $19.95 Score: 92/100. March 15, 2019 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine Full Review
