Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pleasant peach with apple, pear, and honey notes on the nose. A dry and crisp offering of Chenin Blanc with all sorts of ripe fruit aromas and flavours. Excellent value for this Old Vines Reserve. Highly food friendly, this works with everything from seafood through fowl to pork, and much more.
Rebecca Meir-Liebman rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I've always appreciated what Ken Forrester does with Chenin Blanc - as there is obviously a reason he is considered the King Of Chenin! With notes of orange melon, green apple, yellow plum, and a crispy lemon with olive pit bitterness, this wine is a wine to have with a large variety of dishes. There is no doubt this wine is of terrific value for the price point.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Wines like this one are contributing to my newfound fascination with Chenin Blanc. The oak on the nose is more pronounced than on the palate, where it is mixed with citrusy grapefruit. Silky, smooth and full of finesse, it is just beyond light weight. A pleasant citrusy finish. This would be a great choice to pair with grilled shrimp, seafood with lemon, butter sauce. Very good value. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Natalie's Review

Ken Forrester Old Vine Reserve Chenin Blanc 2017, Stellenbosch W.O., South Africa: This Chenin Blanc produced by Ken Forrester is an elegant South African white wine made from Old Vine Reserve Chenin Blanc grapes. The grapes are hand-picked and sustainably farmed, with no herbicides or pesticides. The vines average 35 years of age. The wine is medium-bodied with ripe apple, ripe-white stone fruit and white floral flavours on the palate. Great, full and smooth mouthfeel matched with a vibrant acidity. Chill and enjoy now.
