A fascinating sparkling made from local Ontario grown Braeburn apples, medium mousse and zesty elements of tree fruit, (apples!!) and light soft cedary herbal touches. Sweetness is left on the finish, with cinnamon like notes persisting. Acidity is well balanced. Pair with a sunny afternoon outside. 86 points - tasted Sept 16, 2018

This is a lovely product. Not overly sweet, but very floral and aromatic. The apples were obviously picked a little unripe which helps to control alcohol and bumps up the acidity. Drink while you're cooking Thanksgiving Dinner. 88 Points.

A lot of local wineries are getting in on the wave of popular ciders. Ontario grows tons of apples; lots of them are local cultivars you can only find here. They're great summer drinks when you just want something light and refreshing.
This one, from Pelee Island Winery uses 100% local Braeburn apples.
It's heavier than beer-strength cider (10%). It has about 27 grams of sugar, which isn't that sweet for a cider. It's as sweet as it needs to be.
Lots of yellow fleshed apple and a hint of honey and baking spice towards the finish.
Pair this with the dying days of summer:/
