Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is exactly the sort of wine we should all want from Ontario's most southern appellation. Not only does it exploit their climate's ability to ripen thermophile varietals (Syrah, Malbec, and Petit Verdot), it's also utilizing their South Islands VQA appellation (which means it is a true representation of their character, as a distinct region).
A nice dark purple-red hue. Quite young, still. These are early days for this blend.
Aromas of figs, smoke, pipe tobacco, plum, cassis, cherry jam, and chocolate.
The flavours are pretty soft on the acid, but the tannins are present and ripe. Alluring; not a bruiser. The alcohol is quite balanced too. There is no runaway overripeness here.
This wine definitely dod better with a bot of time to open up. More purity of the fruit came out and it was generally more evocative.
There is a good chance this wine will show even more character in the next year, once it has time to settle down.
This wine did not see too much time in oak, but it did see smaller barriques (more exposed surface area means more oaking).

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
