Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

With both sweet and spicy aromas, this Cab Sauv surprises you with herbaceous flavour hints, culminating in a smooth finish. Well balanced, this wine would be pair well with grilled meats - which, coincidentally, is what was served at the special wine tasting hosted by the Argentinian ambassador.

Malcolm Lamont rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Wow! Owing to it plantings at elevations of 2000 meters above sea level, and excellent winemaking, this wine has a beautiful bouquet on the nose, and wonderful structure (the combination of acidity, tannins, body and alcohol) on the palate.
Drink now or hold for 5 years to develop further complexity.
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Aromas of stewed strawberries, earthy beets, jalapeno peppers and potpourri. It is full-bodied on the palate with perceivable tannins that are well integrated. Tart plum flavours with notes of cedar, jalapeno peppers where you can almost taste the spice, and cinnamon. Another well made Argentinean wine at a great price point!

El Esteco 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, a beautiful wine from the El Esteco winery, located in the Calchaqui Valley of Argentina. Fresh and fruit-driven, the wine offers pleasant flavors of dark red plum, blackberry, violet, pepper, leather and oak. Amazing paring with aged cheese or meat. Enjoy! Craig Haynes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This four year old cabernet sauvignon has taken full of the unique Argentinian climate found at 5500+ feet above sea level. Expect to encounter a delicious combination of dried cranberry, black current, plum and hints of smoke and baking spices. Medium bodied, silky tannins with a long finish. Open a bottle of this Calchaqui Valley red at your next backyard BBQ.
