Jon Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium bodied, soaked almond, crisp green apple. Pairs well with Thai green curry with eggplant. Tasted 2016 vintage in July 2018. 89 points
Wineboy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

I saw this wine as much more crisp than other people who tasted it. Most people might expect a more ripe buttery wine from Chile if they did not notice the cooler Limari region stipulated on the label. Along with the apple crispness I saw a gracing of oak that takes a more smoky style on the finish.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This single-vineyard Chard from Chile's Limari Valley shows aromatic tropical fruit and lime aromatics and a rich palate with tropical guava, ripe pineapple, lime and buttery toast. Creamy, rich mouthfeel yet it retains an overall lightness with a delicious lingering fruity finish. Enjoy with lemon chicken or shellfish.

Natalie's Review

Maycas Del Limarí Limestone Coast Reserva Especial Chardonnay 2016, Limarí Valley D.O., Chile: The 2016 vintage of the Reserva Especial is a single vineyard selection Chardonnay from the Limarí Valley. Maycas Del Limarí Chardonnay was brought up in alluvial-clay, calcareous soils and good drainage. The wine spend 11 months in French oak Burgundy barrels. Bright yellow in colour, the wine is citrus, with ripe golden apple, white stone fruit and a hint of hazelnut nuttiness from judicious oak treatment. Full-bodied intensity and concentration on this delicious Chilean Chardonnay. Butterscotch, freshly baked bread and golden apple. Pair with roast chicken. Pair with smoked salmon eggs Benedict, or on its own. Drink: 2018-2020. 143768 13.50% XD 750 mL  $22.95 Score: 88/100. July 7, 2018 Charming Grilled Chicken Wine  Full Review
