Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Grand Terroir Tautavel from Gerard Bertrand. Medium ruby coloured - blackberry, red plum, icing sugar, burnt sugar, blueberries, and cocoa beans. Flavours are compiled of strawberries, cherries, pepper spices, fresh herbs and anise. Acidity is high and tannins are velvety. Dry and delicious. Stellar pairing for pepper steak salad and ribs. 91 points - July 2018
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted July 2, 2018. Colour dark dense red. Legs thick. Aromas and flavours of, oven dried strawberries, blackberry, roast plum, crushed gravel, cigar. Taste extra dry, full body, mouthwatering minus, medium plus tannin, long dry finish. I like this wine, great value. Wines have been made in the Tautavel valley since ancient times. This is a premier producer of wine in the south of France. I recommend trying all these wines.
This wine was a great match to our BBQ strip loin, salt, pepper and medium rare. The wine married to the meat and fat very well.

Natalie's Review

Gérard Bertrand Grand Terroir Tautavel Grenache Syrah Carignan 2015, Côtes Du Roussillon-Villages, Roussillon A.P., France: Fleshy dark fruit, pepper and cedar forest plus on the nose of this fabulous southern French red wine. Full-bodied and fairly smooth but it will help to decant 2 hours. Terrific price for this savoury, mouth-watering red that will pair perfectly with grilled meats.
