Jon Steeves rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Wow! Showing fresh figs, dates, wild strawberry, blackberry, medium plus tannins, graphite minerality, dark chocolate. Well-balanced, integrating tannins and fruit, complexity. Long finish with persistence of dark chocolate, dried fig. The 2014 vintage is drinking well now, with potential for aging into 2025. Tasted 2014 vintage in March 2019 - 93 points
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Mondavi does it again! Vivacious, voluptuous and velvety! Deep ruby in the glass with pronounced aromas of strawberry, brambles, licorice and graphite. Flavours are languished and layered with cassis, cooked fruits and smokey sundried tomatoes. Well balanced with medium plus acidity, body and finish enveloped by velour laden tannins. This can stand up to some big meats, leg of lamb and juicy steaks. 92 points tasted June 2018
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Recognized as the Maestro of Napa Valley, Robert Mondavi helped the Napa Valley achieve international acclaim for their world-class wines, a legacy that continues to this day. 2014 is the second vintage of Robert Mondavi's Maestro - a premium Napa blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot - sourced from Oakville and Stags Leap District. The Oakville fruit provides the rich dark berry fruit character with broad tannins, while the Stags Leap fruit brings freshness and vivacity to the wine - the result is a wine that's both fresh and deeply concentrated with layers of dark fruits, plum, prune, mocha, mint, cedar, graphite, and subtle sous bois. An exceptional premium Napa blend for the price. Enjoy with braised beef dishes, charcoal grilled beef tenderloin, or fireside with good company. Drink 2018-2028. Tasted June 2018. 93+ points. Natalie's Review

Robert Mondavi Maestro 2014, Napa Valley, California, United States: Fleshy ripe black plums, mocha and toasty oak on the nose of this robust Californian red wine. Terrific finesse and elegance on this Mondavi Maestro. The winery was founded in 1966 but the release of this 2014 vintage is in 2018. Aromas of dark fruit and smoke. An extra long finish.
