Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromatic and flavourful! Lots of cassis, blackberry, cedar, mint, and smoke on the nose. Full bodied and smooth, tannins are present but not overwhelming. Lots of fruit and smoke on the palate, along with that hint of mint again, and a nice smoky finish. Nice level of acidity to pair with grilled beef or pork.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Beautiful nose of chocolate and tobacco with flavours of blackberry, eucalyptus and a bit of chalk. Medium- to full-bodied with ripe tannins and a smooth finish.

Would pair well with heavy beef dishes.

Gwen Barton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Some sweetness on the nose of this Cab Sauv blending nicely with tobacco leaf, cedar and leather. Attractive notes of blackberry, dark chocolate and dark fruit come alive in the mouth. Quite smooth for a young Cab. Pair with grilled meat this BBQ season. Tasted May 2018.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Traditional California Cab with pronounced aromas of stewed red berries licorice, and rich vanilla extract. Flavours are juicy and full, incredibly fruit forward, showing dark plum pudding, blueberry pie filling with sweet smoke. Medium plus acidity with a full body and velvety tannins. Pair this with a Coachella camp out! 87 points - tasted May 6, 2018
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Blackcurrant and blackberry aromas as well as violet, sweet spice, cedar, and hints of vanilla and milk chocolate.

On the palate, there are dark berry flavours as well as chocolate, wood notes, and sweet spice. It has nice harmony between the moderate tannins and fresh acidity.

This wine would pair well with steak or a roast. It would also pair well with dark chocolate.

Black fruit on the nose with plum, cherry, tobacco and red licorice on the palate. Finishes with modest tannins. Pair with grilled meat or beef stroganoff. Tasted May 2018.
